Today's OU-Wash game was like a good news bad news story. Good that Oklahoma won, and Adrian Peterson continued well on his way to a Heisman Trophy. In fact I thought the O looked pretty good (if only our receivers did better at cathing Paul Thompson's passes). But, the bad was the defense didn't exactly learn how to tackle until the second or third quarters. And poor cornerback DJ Wolfe gave up a big play that put him on the sideline for the remainder of the game.
Still over all -- it might have been ugly -- but I'd say the Sooners advanced a bit in their second game. They will need to advance quite a bit more next Saturday when they travel to Oregon.
